Raw Choc Brownie

I’ve just had to go grab myself a slice to sit down and write this recipe as I knew I would start to crave it as soon as I wrote the title…

I am in the very beginning of my raw dessert making days and it sure excites me! So whilst I know this recipe is in no way breaking news or the most complex raw dessert it sure is quick, easy and goes down a treat with a cuppa.


3/4 cup cacao powder

2 tbsp cacao nibs

pinch sea salt

2-3 cups dates (make sure you soak the dates first if they are dried)

1 cup almonds

1 cup walnuts

1/2 cup coconut flakes

optional 1/2 cup macadamia nuts

Place nuts in food processor and blend until fine.

Add sea salt and cacao to bowl

Add dates to processor and blend until buttery consistency. Place nuts back in and process all nuts cacao mix and dates together

Process until doughy soft mix unless you like it slightly more textured (I DO) so i like to leave a few chunks in nuts but thats personal preference. I also add the nibs now and DO NOT process nibs just mix through with hands for some crunch.

Place down Baking paper in any size tin or can even put on a plate, lay out mixture to your desired thickness. Place in fridge cover with a lid or plate!20662720_1250775021714538_604916231_o20677160_1250774935047880_1638622825_o20642304_1250774985047875_2107390881_o

Once in fridge and all cold top with extra nuts, coconut flakes, goji berries you name it!

Boil the kettle, sit down with a book and blanky and enjoy Β x
